Oracle Grove – The Reading that said “Just Do It!”

4.10.2022 – Oracle Grove has been a dream of mine for a long time now.  I didn’t always know it, but looking back, it was there.  From the very first time I pulled cards for myself, and then for others, I was amazed at the wisdom, direction, and assurance that they provided.  I really believe that being open to God, the Universe, and the Angels, speaking to me in this way is what helps me to get the perfect card at the perfect time.

I bought the domain name for this site almost two years before I finally did something with it.  I have been practicing tarot and oracle card reading for over 7 years and have taken several classes, some certified courses and still didn’t do a reading I charged for until this week.  When it comes to something important to me, I am a chronic over-researcher and over-preparer, always believing I have to learn more or do more before I’m ready to unveil my work.

I had a lot of fear over actually launching my website – it takes a lot of courage to open up and show the world the true you – but if you have been following my posts, you can clearly see that the cards, as well as some close friends, have been encouraging me along the way.

So, when I was getting close to launching, but thinking about putting it off for another 6 – 12 months while I took some more classes and finished yet another certification, I took to my Angels and Ancestors Oracle Cards created by Kyle Gray.  I had been having ancestors and ancestral patterns coming to me from all directions and having lost several family elders in the last few years, asking the ancestors felt right.

Reviewing the guidebook, I found a spread I had never used before.  I read the description and knew it was exactly what I needed.  This is the overview of the positions/what they indicate, and in bold, what card I got as well as it’s overall meaning.

1. You & your energy – Shapeshifter – Transform & Unveil Your Gifts

2. What is grounding you & providing you with focus – Sage– Be Devoted & Committed

3. Your current thoughts and perceptions – Star Ancestor – Follow the Voice of Your Soul

5. How you really feel emotionally – Drums – Dream & Journey

6. What needs attention and action – Fire Guardian – Ignite Your Passions

7. Where to direct your energy and intentions –Eagle – See from a Higher Perspective

8. What you need to let go and let flow – Shaolin Master – Be Graceful in Movement & Action

9. The outcome of your current vibration – High Priest – Intend & Create

As you can probably tell, I didn’t really need to look into the deeper meanings of the cards, they were quite succinct in their answers to my underlying issues and questions:

            Am I doing the right thing? – Follow the Voice of Your Soul

Also, looking at the big picture, they sum up masculine energy, covering all positions except for the two positions that are about your feelings and needing to let things go.  Masculine energy is the take action, get something done energy and this spread, for me, was like a neon sign saying, “JUST DO IT!”

Now – I should explain something briefly, masculine and feminine energy are not the same thing as male and female humanness or human sexuality.  Many women I know show a lot more masculine energy than feminine and some men have abundant feminine energy.  Masculine energy is an energy of doing, while feminine energy is more about feeling and being.  Feminine energy is more about being receptive and feeling your emotions.  We all have both energies and the levels of each are almost always in flux in each of us, based on our current situations and state of mind.

So, within the week of this reading, I got the bare minimum necessary to launch completed and it was official, I now have an ongoing work in progress that is enjoyable and is letting me share the true me.

The day after launching the site, I did a simple three card past/present/future reading with the same card deck to check in and see what my next steps should be.  My energies had flipped to all feminine.  The past – Winter – I took care of my needs, did what needed to be done, present – Mother Earth – feeling loved and comforted, future – Shield Maiden – make plans and focus.

Yes, it was right, I had gotten several supportive and positive responses, was feeling good about what I had done and now was the real work – making plans and staying focused!
