The Empress Arrives: A Card of Creative Momentum

A Daily Draw from My Most-Loved Tarot Deck

There are certain decks that feel like home the moment you pick them up.
For me, that will always be The Archangel Power Tarot Cards by Radleigh Valentine.

It was only the second deck I ever owned—and now, even with more than 70 tarot and oracle decks in my collection (yes, truly!), this is still the one I reach for most often. It’s soft at the edges now, the gilding worn from years of shuffling, and it feels like an old friend who knows exactly how to hold space for me.

So when I decided to begin sharing daily (or near-daily) card pulls, of course I chose to start with this deck.

And naturally—because tarot has a sense of humor and timing—the first card that appeared was:

The Empress

Archangel Gabriel · Creativity · Momentum · Nurtured Growth

It didn’t surprise me at all.

The Empress is the gentle but insistent reminder so many of us need:

  • Start the project you keep thinking about.
  • Nurture what matters most.
  • Take the next step instead of waiting for the “perfect” moment.
  • Let your creativity move through you into form.

She’s lush, abundant, grounded, and deeply encouraging.
In this deck, she’s paired with Archangel Gabriel, who has always felt like one of my strongest spiritual supporters. Gabriel tends to show up in my readings when I’m:

✨ planning
✨ debating
✨ thinking through possibilities
✨ …and sometimes overthinking myself right out of momentum

Gabriel gently nudges me back toward action, reminding me:

“Dreaming is beautiful, but movement creates the magic.”

It’s one of the lessons I’m working on living more consistently in my creative life—both here on Oracle Grove and beyond.

What You Can Expect Going Forward

It’s my intention to use this space to share:

🌿 Daily or near-daily card pulls

From tarot and oracle decks that have supported me, inspired me, or challenged me in meaningful ways.

🌿 Deck spotlights and reviews

I own many decks across a wide range of styles, and I’d love to introduce you to the ones I find most helpful for clarity, creativity, and intuitive self-discovery.

🌿 My favorite card spreads

And eventually, spreads and tools I design myself.

🌿 Gentle guidance, cozy reflection, and room for your own intuition

I don’t treat tarot as prediction.
I treat it as conversation—between you, your inner knowing, your creativity, and the quiet wisdom we sometimes forget we already have.

Walking This Path Together

My hope is to stay consistent in this journey—not in a rigid, performative way, but in a grounded, cozy, meaningful way. I want to share card insights that help us:

✨ understand ourselves more clearly
✨ find direction when we feel overwhelmed
✨ trust our intuition a little more
✨ feel more peaceful, content, and aligned
✨ remember that creativity is a worthy, sacred part of life

Whether you’re brand new to tarot or a longtime reader, I hope the cards I share spark something warm and resonant in you.

Here’s to more clarity, more courage, and more cozy magic
—one card at a time. 🌙✨
